In October 2024, Gleanings Housing Inc. celebrated the completion of a triplex, featuring two one-bedroom units and one three-bedroom unit. This milestone marks significant progress in our commitment to providing affordable rental housing in Lexington, Kentucky. Continued support from donors, in-kind contributions, and dedicated volunteers—including professional expertise—has been instrumental in completing key projects.
Legacy Home
Gifted to us in August of 2022, Legacy Home offers a unique opportunity for five single women fifty years or older to live together. This beautifully remodeled 2500 sq. ft home has 5 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a sunroom with access to a deck, a living room, a huge fully equipped kitchen, laundry with new appliances, a library office, a spacious backyard with room for relaxation and gardening, and off-street parking.
Florence Ave #3
On May 20, 2025, Gleanings Housing Inc. proudly broke ground on the Florence Avenue Duplex, marking a significant step toward expanding access to safe, affordable housing. Our goal is to complete construction by May 2026, providing two households with secure and cost-effective housing options. To bring this project to completion, we invite community members to support our mission through donations, participation in construction workdays, and engagement in fundraising and outreach events.
